451°F - 4 oz Tin

Took a chance on this one and fell in love. Cozier than it has any right to be, given the source literature.

I think this candle is similar to Winter Keep, but I like this one so so so so so much better. There’s a sweetness to it that makes it an appropriate “bonfire” smell for any time of the year. My biggest criticism is that it is a very weak candle. But I have a lot of smaller spaces in my house so it works perfectly fine for me. I wanted this candle to come back so badly and I’m so glad it did.

I’ve bought quite a few candles from Frostbeard Studios, and haven’t found any that I really dislike. 451F is amazing! I love that sometimes you get more bonfire or nutmeg, sometimes you get a blend of bonfire, cedar, and nutmeg. A very pleasant experience!

Love the scent but found the throw to be a bit weak. The nutmeg blends nicely with the woodsy and smoky scents. It's a perfect candle for the fall or winter. I just wish that it was stronger.

I tend to like the smokey scents and this is no exception. Excellent blend of the wood and fire, and I guess it's that nutmeg coming through that balances it out nicely.

Wonderful blend. I always worry when I see nutmeg as part of the mix, since a little bit can go a long way, but this candle gets it right. The woodsmoke aroma is relaxing and evocative--great for a background to reading or writing.

Not one of my favorites, but definitely worth a try!

My husband does not care about candles and rarely notices them or comments on them. I shoved this in his face because he loves the book it’s based on and he loved it. He told me to order more immediately (of course it’s sold out :( ). And that was just from the cold sniff. When it’s burning, it’s a bit reminiscent of the other Frostbeard candles with woody notes, but it’s really nice and cozy.

I keep burning this candle and trying to like it more than I do, but it's just not the candle for me. All of the scent components are perceptible, but they do not seem to work together synergistically. I really like the bonfire smell, but the nutmeg seems out of place.

This is hands down my favorite title out of the candles! And it’s a pleasure to burn it ;)

Buying this one again because I just love it. It manages to be woody and smoky without being incense-y, which is a real feat! The nutmeg is nice, spicy but doesn't go holiday/baked goods.

This was the candle I was most excited to try when I first learned of this company and their products. I'm so very glad I was finally able to purchase it.. Everything I had hoped for.. Did not disappoint. Scents blend perfectly and hits exactly as I expected. Gives off a good throw and is not overwhelming. Winner!

Bought this candle from a local book festival years ago. A whole bunch of permanent collection and backlist scents were there, but this one stood out the most! I loved how it was woodsy and smelled like a campfire, without being too overwhelming. I really hope it gets brought back again, because it's still my favorite.

I'm so glad I was able to order this in one of the "bring it back" batches. 451 is one of my favorite books that I try to reread every year and this candle really sets a great sensory experience. I wouldn't mind it if it was a little stronger but it's definitely enough to fill a room.

I really liked 451* and I wish they still carried it. Yankee used to have a 2x4 scent which turned me on the to more woodsy/tree type smells. I was worried it would be over powering but was pleased it wasn't

Up close opening this candle it smelled good. When I burned it I couldn't really smell much from it except when I blew it out, then I would get the nutmeg. Good quality like every candle I've ordered, just not one I'd re-order.

I love this one! I like to imagine a really big bonfire that isn’t burning books, but instead is perfect for hearing spooky stories. I’m really glad I got this one and I hope I can get it again in the fall! It’s really well balanced: not too woodsy, not too smoky, not too spicy. Just right. The kind of scent you luxuriate in and then drift into fantasies.

This scent is stronger than the others I have burned, if you love cedar and nutmeg this is for you!

Cozy smelling candle that brings back memories of late nights watching the bonfire die. You can pick out each of the individual components of the candle but they blend so well together too. I only wish the scent was more powerful. I'd love to have this fill the room.

I had just finished reading both "The Library Book" (about epic fire at LA Public Library) and "Fahrenheit 451" so kinda had to buy this candle ;) It is excellent!

This candle has an incredible scent that is woodsy and reminiscent of a bonfire. I really like all of the Frostbeard Studio candles and they did not disappoint with 451!

This candle wraps the room with the warmth of an autumnal bonfire. It is smokey and sweet. The cedar gives the scent a strong earthy undertone which the nutmeg cuts quite nicely, yet it is really the aroma of a bonfire that stands out.

This fragrance is as advertised. Who knew the scent of burning paper would be so pleasing. I feel somewhat ashamed posting this as I am a librarian. But it’s true, this scent fits in the realm of Frostbeard Studios and is a pleasant addition to any home whether you have many shelves of books or just a few. No need to hide them from the firemen, at least for now. Do give this scent a try.

I kept my eye on this one in the bring it back section for a long time & I so wasn't disappointed when it came back and I could finally order it. The bonfire scent is GREAT and combined with the nutmeg, it's definitely one of my favorites.

I have wanted this candle for TWO YEARS, and finally snagged one when the "Bring it Back" email came to me. It is everything I had hoped it would be---the scents are perfectly balanced. One of my favorites!

Not exactly what I thought it would smell like. But it does smells good! :)
