Deep Dark Woods - Wax Melts

Please bring this one back! I love love love it!

If you close your eyes, it really feels like you’re standing in a forest. I like this one better than some of their other forest themed smells. Not the strongest, but I like it just the same.

This is my first candle from frostbeard. At first I couldn’t smell anything after lighting it. Smelled very nice unlit, of course. Then I went downstairs to do laundry and came back. Beautiful aroma. Subtle and fresh, just like forests.

I saw a reviewer say this smells like earthy soap in the best way and I can definitely smell that! The scent is earthy and pleasant. It has a mild throw, and I know I would love even more if it was a strong throw!

Like a hike without the blisters and bugs. Good one for the workday because it’s invigorating but doesn’t make me snacky.

The spiced earthy smell is so good!

I love the spiciness that the ginger adds to the damp earthy scent. This is a favorite of the woodsy candles. It reminds me of the Christmas one because it has the ginger and pepper undertones.

As a fan of all the forest related scents, this one is lovely.

I love all the forest/damp scents from Frostbeard. Just sets the perfect tone for sitting and reading. Loved this one for that added layer of ginger.

I'm not sure if it's the ginger and coriander that reminds me of anl soap smell, but it smells like an earthy soap in the best way possible. If frostbeard made soaps I'd want some in this scent!

Earthy but a little heavy on an underlying vanilla smell. I round it out with a simmer pot otherwise it would unbalanced and off putting.

Scent is accurate and pleasing. Second, they raised prices from $8 to $9 for two ounces. Third, I contacted them And followed up, but despite their order updates claiming to contact them and they’ll get back to you, they never responded to me and it’s been like a month. So I’m unhappy that they’re overpriced and cannot be bothered to respond back

It's not a favorite and all I really smell is soap for this one, unfortunately.

Good stuff

This candle perfectly captures the scent as described in my mind. Dark and loamy you can envision yourself in a dark and hidden wood straight out of a fairy tale.

I really really enjoy this candle. I do think mild across the board too mild with any candle. I know it's hard to hit the right note between a candle that's pleasant and a candle that overpowers, but I would definitely appreciate a stronger scent.
The ginger really hits that spicy earthy note that makes it feel more magical, the way that loam can have that peculiar spicy quality to it. I certainly have to make sure that I'm in the correct room so that I can smell it properly.

I bought these as wax melts--I wish I would have purchased *at least* three of the candles!!! I truly love the deep and woodsy scent Frostbeard made here. The ginger comes in towards the end and provides lightness and freshness to the overall experience. I grew up in the deep woods of northern Wisconsin, and this
scent made me feel nostalgic.

Every time I walk past the candle selection at the store I take a sniff of their evergreen scents, but until this candle I never found what I was looking for. Green and soothing and spicy without being cloying or sweet (or smelling of pine cleaner). All of the Frostbears candles I've tried have been excellent, but this is the one I would buy regularly if I could. Thanks, guys!

I was so excited when I got the email that this one was back! I love the earthy scents and this one does not dissapoint!

The forest floor part is absolutely the strongest part of the scent, but the spices come through very lightly. Overall, the smell is really pleasant.

i go nuts for woodsy scents and this one definitely creates a mood
