Freshly Cut Flowers

This smell is amazing, like freshly cut flowers. I like that it's both strong and natural, a vibrant "green" smell coupled with blossoms. My elderly kitty is sensitive to some of my Frostbeard smells, but she's currently curled up next to the warmer napping. My picky husband keeps stopping by to take deep breaths and say, "So refreshing!" For me, it's giving my Animal Crossing island adventure a whole new life! ^_^

Floral Faerie Magic

Did I enter a fairy ring? This forgotten garden is a portal to the Fae. It’s a strong scent - strong like you are surrounded by earth and blooming flowers, not strong in an inauthentic sweet way. For someone with pollen allergies, this is all of the garden without the sneezing. I love it. ❤️

Very nice floral candle.

Nice and green

The Rose is the dominant fragrance but there is also a good amount of green grassy notes. Floral but not too sweet.

I want to give this to my Mum with a bag that I’m going to make that will have her favorite flower on it and a copy of the book “The Secret Garden.” For Christmas.

These are perfect!

I'm always on the lookout for candles that smell really good, that burn well and last a long time. I've purchased expensive, cheap, trendy and everything in between, but am always disappointed. THESE are the ones. I bought Forgotten Garden, Babylon Candle, The Old Forest and Old Books. They are very different from each other and all are perfect. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the Forgotten Garden, or maybe The Old Forest. Or.....And with the Old Forest, do not mistake this for a Christmas tree candle, at all. There is only a very faint nod to trees, it's more.....think dark woods full of fairies and enchantment. They are all wonderful.

This was ok

This was ok, I would even say pretty good. I wish (as always) that the scent throw was better.

Haven’t Burned a Frostbeard Candle I Didn’t Love!

What I like most is that it’s truly fragrant, stronger is always better for me. Other reviews thought it a bit too much but not me! Love it!

Fresh and Green

I was worried this would be too floral but it definitely isn't and is a wonderful fresh and green scent. Great throw with the wax melts.

Amazing

I put off lighting this candle because I wasn't in love with the scent but once it was lit, it was absolutely amazing!!!

Strong and beautiful

Absolutely love this. It's a strong flowery scent that lingers even after you blow it out. Honestly, I sometimes catch a whiff of it, unlit, if the lid of the jar is off! Some may find it a bit too strong or perfumey, but it's lovely in small doses (burning for hours at a time would be too much, for sure) and evokes its source of inspiration.

Strong English country garden vibes

It smells exactly as it ought to; this is the scent of a quirky antique store run by pink-cheeked old ladies in the countryside, not quite my cup of tea. I did put a sliver of this wax melt in with some Sassenach and the effect was lovely, just a little less floral.

I was expecting to really love this candle but it was stronger and more cloying than I expected. I burn it in a different place than I normally burn candles as it was a bit too strong for me.

Perfect Blend

Love, love, LOVE this one! Perfect blend of floral, earth, and dirt scents, and the color of the candle is a beautiful shade of green. Strong scent and excellent throw. When lit, it smells like there is a garden inside my house; please bring this one back!!

YES

Just yes. Love it. Floral and fresh, especially appreciated during a time when I'm so often inside my little apartment and far from many gardens. The smells of sweet nature are so crisp and lovely and earthy and just... yes. One of my favorites :)

Smells Wonderful!

Love this candle! It smells so clean and I feel relaxed every time I use it. I'm so sad because mine is almost finished and I don't know if they'll ever bring it back. If they do, next time I will buy more than one!

Feels exactly like June summer mornings

I love this candle so so so much! I hope it becomes permanent or a seasonal option because it might be one of my absolute favorite smells. My mom doesn't like floral and when she smelled it she thought it was fantastic too. When I light it I feel like I'm in a secret garden with Mary and Colin!

Forgotten Garden

I just got this one in the mail today and it smells lovely! Beautiful scent! The candle scent is fantastic!

Unfortunately, during packaging/travel the label on the jar did end up a bit ripped so I am a little sad about that.

My Precious

Do I love the smell of this candle? Yes, do my co-workers also love the smell of the wax melts, yes, very much so. It's like a sweet dirt smell mixed with greenery. I'm not sure how to describe it but totally thought of a different smell before I opened it and was wowed. Bring it back since it was a monthly release!

"Where you tend a rose, a thistle cannot grow."

This smells exactly like the hidden garden at Misselthwaite Manor must! I love the green color. It reminds me of spring and the new life springing up in the plants. The scent isn't overly rosy or floral. Nice and bright with some dirt and earthiness for good measure.

Strong floral and verdant

Strong floral and verdant scent, reminiscent of roses. A little goes a long way: I mix a quarter of a wax cube with 1 cube of Old Forrest and 1 cube of Book Celler to get a perfect rainforest scent.

How does it manage to smell JUST like a garden?

It smells like I imagine the color green might smell. If this is limited, you NEED to order it. It's gentle and inviting, and it smells more like greenery than like overpowering blooms. There's a tiny, subtle sweetness that rounds out the candle perfectly.

Floral but not overpowering

I usually don't love floral scents because they are sickly-sweet or otherwise way too strong, but I really enjoy this smell. This is definitely a scent I'll be getting again.

Lovely!

I actually had to order another before it goes away. Love the fresh scent throughout the house from this candle!

Summer Roses

Forgotten Garden reminds me of a trip to a rose nursery in Dahlonega, Georgia called Antique Rose Emporium. Scattered on top of a mountain by a small dirt road were thousands of own-root roses potted temporarily in 2-gallon containers. Above them were climbing roses on rope arches and perennial beds with bees humming through. The summer sun forced the rose petals to release more of their scents. Like some roses, this candle has a citrus note versus a musky one.

The perfect summer candle

The forgotten garden is fresh and clean with just the right amount of sweetness and floral notes to brighten any room. It is one of my favorites.

Fresh greenery with a coconut twist

This is a delicious smelling candle. It’s fresh and green, like you’re walking through a well-maintained and fragrant garden. And then at the end, a coconut after-scent. It’s sweet, not too sugary, but just enough of a compliment to the fresh green.
