Ghoul's Gate - Wax Melts

I really wanted to love this candle. I wanted something that smelled natural and subtle. Sadly, no one can smell anything when it's lit. I even get up really close and smell nothing. I bought three other scents that I haven't tried yet, and I'm hoping this is a one-time problem.

This is a terrific scent. It's calming with a very clean aroma. Bought one for my daughter-in-law and she absolutely loves it.

Loved the ones I purchased so much that I just ordered a BUNCH more to have through (Oct....Nov.)....my favorite season will now be even more special with these Autumn scents to come home to.

This candle is amazing, and somehow smells exactly like "moss-dirt-stone-grass. It brings me back to my favorite time and place (autumn in Connecticut) with it's wet earthiness. Definitely unique & funky; a seasonal favorite.

This candle is exactly what I've been looking for in a "spooky season" candle. The earthy qualities really evoke a stroll through a graveyard while smelling pleasant at the same time. Save the pumpkin spice for Thanksgiving; THIS is the perfect Halloween candle!

Surprisingly sweet smelling!

I love a fresh green-natured scent. I enjoy the scent of The Old Forest and when I saw Ghoul's Gate, I wanted to give it a try, expecting a similar scent with a little more "cool, damp" notes and a hint of petrichor. However, it wasn't quite what I expected. It has some earthy and natural scents but it also seemed to have some sweet/fruity scents. It's by no means offensive, but I wouldn't get it again. When I'm feeling this aroma, I'd opt for The Old Forest.

Not too strong, but strong enough; earthy, but not too heavy; a really great balance for something a little unusual!

When I said "Good" I meant it is FABULOUS. The scent could be just a little stronger, but it's entirely just right. Perfect. I'm surprisingly very happy with this scent and would definitely like a size a bit bigger so I can burn it longer! Viva la Ghoul Gate scent!

Great new scent!

This was pleasantly surprising. I was hoping for dirty, woodsy, earthy and it delivered. It's not overpowering, but it does fill a room nicely. I'll be adding this my list of must haves.

A sweet, earthy, and warm smell that matches late summer/early fall vibes

This has an "old lady perfume" quality to it that is kind of strong, but works well with the earthy tones.

This one was just ok for me. Smelled like powder.

This candle reminds me of being in high school and hanging out in the park after dark when there is a slight dew on the grass. It’s a nostalgic scent that gives me nighttime energy. I love it but it is honestly just not strong enough. I have to be right up next to it and even then I can barely smell it.

All in all I like this candle and it's a nice addition for spooky season but as others have noted there is a more sweet tone to the fragrance while burning than I expected. It's not unpleasant just that I wanted more of the earthiness to come through and be prominent.

If you’re looking for a fall candle for now until we get to buy winter candles, this is an awesome choice. Smells like a forest, but has a dark hint. Like there’s something out there waiting for you.

Great original scent. Very earthy. Took one star off because I wish the scent was stronger and the throw better. Still really like it regardless. adore this company and love giving them business.

Waited a year for this to come back in stock after getting a sample, and when it was available I bought 2 big jars. I love this one so much, earthy, green, pleasant, soft.
