Sexy Librarian - Wax Melts

This scent, in my opinion, is a little strong on the musk. I did like it after awhile and appreciated the other notes in it. I ordered a small tin, but some of Frostbeard’s spring candles comparatively are so fantastic that I think I don’t know if I’ll be ordering again. If you like a musk smell, then this candle is definitely for you! It being the strongest note I’m the candle that I personally smell, it’s just not my taste. However, I can see this candle being appealing to others!

I wanted this scent as soon as it released because the name is so amazing. However, when the scent arrived I knew that I'd underestimated just how much I was going to enjoy it. This scent is strong without being overpowering and it's relaxing because of the combination of rosewood and lilac. I only melted one tart and the scent filled my room. I only wish that I ordered more since it's a seasonal offering.

I have both this and the Monster Hunter candle and while I agree they're similar (like other reviews have stated) I enjoy them both equally with this scent being richer and muskier

This candle's scent is delicate, warm, and floral. The blend of scents is balanced and appealing. In another's hands the concept behind this candle could come off smelling like your grandma's parlor room, but Frostbeard pulls it off with elegance and style.

The main scent that comes through for me is musk, with just a bit of lilac smoothing it out. It's not too strong and doesn't linger for too long after the warmer is turned off.

Mild, and not too musky. Nice background scent without being overwhelming.

It reminds of lovely old ladies at church more than a 'sexy librarian',but it's still pleasantly floral and sweet, and the musky tones balance it nicely.

I love the smell of lilacs that bloom in my backyard in the spring . Alas, the blooms don’t stay for long. This candle helps keep that scent around a little longer.

This is a favorite of The Spouse; If it were a perfume, I would wear it. ;-) As it is, I will settle for burning it in my house.

I really like this scent, it's really unique from a candle. It smells faintly like flowers and more like incense. I was hoping that the lilac would be a little bit louder, but I still really like this scent!

A sweet, summery scent. Not my fave but inoffensive.

I'm OBSESSED with this smell. It reminds me of the His Dark Materials candle they did over a year ago, "Aurora Dust". The rosewood and musk read as a warmer scent similar to an amber, and the lilacs add a powdery floral note. I kind of wish they had named this "Evie" after the iconic sexy librarian from "The Mummy", but you can't have it all! I also wish its throw was a tad stronger, but it's perfect for lighting and resting it by you while you read. Relaxing, comforting, and enticing. LOVE IT.

I love this scent. It smells like perfume and I was a bit worried that my fiancé wouldn't like it since he doesn't like the smell of most perfumes but he also loved it!

the scent in the jar is a nice interesting floral but I didn't smell it enough while burning.

I love, love, love the way this candle smells. Floral without being sickly sweet. Deep and balanced sent. The only problem is that I wish it was stronger when it was burning. I can smell it nicely before I light it, but when it is burning the sent doesn't fill up the room like other Frostbeard candles have. You might be looking for that, but I wish it was a stronger sent since I love it so much.

When I ordered this wax melt, even though I generally love a good floral scent, I was not sure if it would meet my expectations. When I used the wax melt, I really loved the floral mix and was happily surprised. My only quibble is that I wish the wax melt had slightly more endurance in the smell when used repeatedly.

I was intrigued by this scent combination and while it's very pleasant on cold sniff the candle itself gives off almost no throw.

This one amuses me bc I had my husband smell it and he just grinned and said it smelled like a sexy librarian, so whatever that means lol. But I was unsure about it bc I'm not a huge fan of floral smells but it is very well balanced between the floral and musk. A good spring smell that isn't too heavy. Not sure that I've ever actually smelled a sexy librarian but apparently my husband has and it's accurate so I hope that helps.

I wanted to be a librarian when I grew up. This just reinforces that idea. It smells SO good. The combination of lilac and musk is genius, and rosewood gives it a great, soft balance. Pretty much in love with this one. Need it in every size. Want it in a perfume. This is now my signature scent.

very strong interesting floral. I can't put my finger on it, but it smells nostalgic to me, maybe like a new age store from the 90s.

New favorite! I like that the musk smell isn't very strong, definitely gives off an incense vibe. To me it's a very relaxing scent, loved it!

As a librarian, I have been craving this one, but I just really don't care for it. If you like floral scents mixed with musky ones you will like this. It was too perfumy smelling for me. I don't plan to burn it, but will keep it on display on a bookshelf for fun.
