I love a grassy/woody scent. This doesn't disappoint.

I'm glad I tried it but wish it had been a little stronger. Still a nice scent!

As a child I spent many days at a cabin in Wyoming and as I sat near the bubbling stream I would pluck a stem of sweet grass and chew on it. This candle takes me back to those days of my youth.

Does not disappoint and worth the wait for this to come back. Bought 2 full size jars. Wonderful grassy and wood smell with mild spice, no doubt the cut timber note. Very fresh and uplifting!

This replaced Rainy Day Reads for me when freshening up my room. I hope this is a permanent scent. It’s hard to find a good sweetgrass candle anywhere!

There's a yard in my neighborhood that has a delightful, warm, earthy, sweet scent every time they mow their lawn, as opposed to the classic green grass scent of most yards. This candle reminds me of that, plus a whiff of warm cedar. I wish I had this in perfume form.

As with other 4 oz Frostbeards I've owned, the scent gets stronger the further it burns, to the point where it will quickly fill up a small space. I burn it for a few hours at a time (at the end of dry, hot days), and it's lasted me a long time.

I bought one of these, loved it madly, and so quickly got another. The first one I burned day and night. The second one...is on my shelf and we'll see when I burn it because if it won't happen again, I'm going to hoard the one I have. Its fresh and light, and reminds me of driving home on long summer nights with the windows down. I REALLY hope this one comes back next year.

I ordered the smallest version of this candle first and then couldn't resist upgrading before it retired. The scent is so perfectly fresh and outdoorsy. I've never been a big fan of warm summer "fresh" scents like cotton or linen, but suddenly with this candle I understand the appeal! It absolutely smells like a warm wind blowing across a field, with no one else in sight.

This scent is very subtle, so I wouldn't use it in a larger room if you wanted to smell the whole place up. I'm currently using it in a open floor plan kitchen/dining room but may try it in the powder room to see if there's a difference when burning it in different room sizes.

I prefer scents that are reminiscent of trees and woods. This one is stronger of grass to me, like ambling through a meadow. Still lovely and green.

This candle is a new favorite! It's sweet and earthy without an overpowering scent of dirt as can sometimes be the case with nature-theme candles. This provides such a refreshing and light scent to the room it's in. Perfect for the summer and the transition into fall.

I love this candle. So fresh smelling. Not a heavy perfume at all. This is my new all time favorite!

This was the scent for the July subscription, and I love it. I didn't know how they'd capture fresh cut timber, but they did, and when you burn it, it's like you're in the north east in the middle of the forrest.

I was looking for a grass scent for this summer. They must have read my mind ! It’s light and pleasant. I’m happy with it.

I so wanted to love this one....I was expecting a more rustic and earthy scent but to me the highlight of this one is baby powder. It’s just too sweet and not enough greenery. This happens with online ordering to be sure and it’s the first scent I haven’t been over the moon for...

This gentle, seductive scent smells less like sweet grass and more like the herb sweetgrass to me-- fitting, as the Ingalls family certainly encountered sweetgrass often in their travels. Sweetgrass is sacred in many cultures, and is used to cleanse and bless. I love this tart scent!

This is a gift for my sister who loves the Little House series. I had to smell it before giving it to her, and it is just lovely. Perfect for summer days.

This isn't one of my favourites, but I'm still happy with it! it's a nice spring scent and I love how mild it is.

The grassy scent of this candle is really nice! It mixes well with the timber to offer a nice outdoorsy scent that isn't earthy.
The scent isn't very strong, though, so I usually have to burn it a little longer to get it to fill a room. I would count it more than worth the wait though!

The smell is perfect for summer! It’s very light and grassy without triggering any allergies like normal grass does. The candle is more on the earthy side.

Sweet, like a mild beeswax candle. I don't detect any grass or timber notes at all. Not really memorable.

I was so excited to see this scent - I love all earthy candles so this one definitely appealed to me. I really didn't get any wood shavings or timber from it, but the sweet grass was delightful on its own. Fairly mild but still a lovely little scent!

I love trying the monthly candle smells. The scent description is remarkably spot on. I can close my eyes and imagine being on the prairie. A refreshing scent for warm weather days!

I love outdoor scents and this one is great! It's a little sweeter than I imagined but still outdoorsy.

I am in love with this smell! It is just the perfect balance of sweet grass and wood shavings and it's quite mild so it doesn't overpower at all. I would love to see this be part of the permanent collection even though I know it they're not changing the mainstays. But it's so good! It's a little nostalgic, very cozy and fresh, and mostly just a really pleasant scent. Love!

I have some mixed feelings on this one. It’s a lot sweeter than I thought. I’ve only warmed one cube so far but I think it’s going to grow on me. It’s definitely unique!

This was a big surprise - I don'y normally like green scents, but I was curious how they'd do a grass smell with timber. Turns out I LOVE IT! It's a green fresh spicy smell - I guess the spice is the timber. It works. It really works. Lovely spring/happy summer smell. Very happy and surprised.

I was curious how they'd get fresh cut timber in a candle, and mix it with grass, but they did it. I'm super impressed with this candle, and can't wait to get more of it. Perfect for a rainy day when you're thinking about sunny days.
